From September to November in 2024, I worked as a contract game developer for SoulZen.io to build an Apple Vision Pro app called Breath Zen. This app guides users through a series of breathing sessions to relieve their stress and pressure. This app contains three different breathing techniques, each of which aims to achieve different self-care goals. The app is developed in Unity with the XR plugin for Apple Vision Pro. My responsibilities and contributions mainly involved:
• Core Mechanics: Implemented breathing timer system, including state transitions for inhale, hold, & exhale cycles
• Reusable Architecture: Engineered a parent class for breathing timers, enabling scalable and modular functionality
• Interactive Features: Developed animations to synchronize breathing cycles with visual cues, enhancing user engagement
• Seamless Integration: Debugged and fine-tuned breathing animations to ensure flawless execution on Apple Vision Pro
• Iterative Development: Continuously refined app mechanics based on feedback, improving performance and user experience
